He settled on Poho Creek and died there leaving a son, Peter who settled on the homestead, and whose son Dennis, who now owes the property. Mrs. Samuel Hartman Mrs. Daniel Wentz and Mrs. William Kern were daughters of Jost Dreisbach all reside in the twp

Mrs. Altemose died leaving 3 children; James married Anne Kresge, Emalinda married Daniel Richard and Ira E. of Kansas City, MO. Mr. Altemose married 2nd to Sarah (Shupp) Kresge a native of Luzerne Co and a dau. of Charles and Elisabeth (Dreisbach) Shupp. Children, Amas at El Paso, Texas, Carrie, w/o Dr. George F. Peck and Luella who died at age 10.
