I have Drayton used as a name in the Moore family of Laurens and later Edgefield
co., SC
James Moore b. @ 1740 (prob. Prince George, VA) md. Ann Davis @ 1770.
Children were; Jonathan, James, William and
Drayton.
James Moore d. 1782 in Laurens, sons to Edgefield 1790.
