First of all, I do not think there is such a place as Shruberman. I think it could be Shrivenham in Wiltshire. William had a son, George Washington Drayton, who was enlisted in Company G of the New York 154th Infantry Regiment. The date was 24th Sept 1862. He was mustered out 11th Jun 1865 at Bladensburg, Maryland. Washington was born 11 Jun 1844 in Carroll, NY and died 3 Nov 1918. He married Lucy J Greene (1 Feb 1841 - Jul 1881). They were married on 1 Jul 1867. Washington was admitted to a home for disabled soldiers in 1918. He is listed as a private in Company G of the 154th NY Inf Reconstruction Aide. Washington and Lucy had 3 children - Jennie, born Jun 1875, Anna Maria 15 May 1872, Josepgh 11 Sep 1878. Nearly all of this information I obtained from a public family tree posted on the ancestry messageboard. There was obviously a reason why Washington was so named. You have answered that question.
