There is some history of the family that owned Drayton Hall in an online article at http://www.draytonhall.org/html/body_classic_1.html

Also, M. Frances LaMont has an extensive genealogy of Draytons posted at http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/l/a/m/M-F-LaMont/GENE2-0001.html

I don't have any original information on the family except for the generations descended from the present owner of Magnolia Plantation.
