There are two family lines with the name of Drapalik living in the United States. One line came directly from what is now Czechoslovakia; the other one came from Czechoslovakia, through Poland and then on to the United States. I believe that both lines are related. Thanks to great work by a cousin, I have information on 3 generations of Drapaliks born in what is now Czechoslovakia., the oldest being JOSEF DRAPALIK (born before1835), who married to KATERINA BERANEK (born before 1835 in Milesinov). The line that came directly to the United States, is descended from Josef’s and Katerina’s child JAN. The line that came from Poland may have come from a sibling of Jan or Josef.
