Good Morning!!

I have recently requested lineage papers from the DAR for William Drane who married, Cassandra Magruder. This is Hiram's father. At this point there are no papers for William listed. I was most surprised as I have seen many references to William being a Revolutionary Soldier.

Can any one shed some light on this? Does any one have specific documentation that indicates that William Drane was indeed a Revolutionary Soldier.
