Thomas E. Drane 31 and Pearl Taylor age 16, married 10 March 1903in Lindsay, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, now in McClain County,Oklahoma.
Pearl was the daughter of William M. Taylor and Nancy Cox.
One of her brothers was A.B. "Babe" Allie Taylor. He married Pearl Smith, whose mother came from Madison County, Kentucky. A daughter of A.B and Pearl Taylor wrote that the Drane family came from Madison County also, first to Texas and then on to the Chickasaw Nation. Thomas went back and forth from Oklahoma and Texas, until he finally moved to California.I am not sure when.
I am hoping this information will lead to someone who is researching this particular Drane family. As far as I know, there is one other person searching the Drane surname, from the connection to the same Taylor family.
I would like to hear from anyone researching the Drane family from Kentucky/Texas/Indian Territory/ California. So far I haven't found the Drane family in the Madison County, KY, where they were supposed to have lived.
Claud Fuller b. 8 Feb. 1877 Madison Co. Kentucky, came with the Drane family to Texas Later his mother Emily Barker Fuller Smith and her 2nd. husband Christopher Smith followed her son to Texas.
