The is a Drane Family Newsletter which has not been published for about three years. I'm the last publisher and I have just not had time to do it. I have been collecting material during that time, however, and I am trying to begin the process.
Let me say that "newsletter" is really a misnomer in this instance. These are really compilations of family history. I have produced six, I believe, the last two or three that are still available. They are approximately 90 pages with some 100 photographs. The next issue will mostly cover the Dranes from Kentucky who settled in Florida founding forts and cities (Lakeland). There is also a connection with the Henry Plant who is one of Florida's most prominent citizens.
Anyone can contact me directly if they would like on the mailing list for notice of publication or if they are interested in past issues. Issues generally sell for approximately $15 plus postage.
