This may be a lead to look into. I saw on Family Search.org that Rebecca Francher/Fancher was born in Prince George's County, Maryland. So I did a search on Drains there. And sure enough there are a bunch of James Anthony Drains, Anthony Drains and also some John Drains. The spelling is sometimes seen as Drane. My thinking is that one of these Drains/Dranes is the father of John Drain born bet 1749-1750. I even found a John Drain born abt 1750 from Prince George's County, Maryland on Family Search.org. This is just speculation, but it would surely make sense. I don't know...what do you think? Anyone have any incite on this one? I'd love to hear it. I just know that the information about James Druin and Mary Weaver being the parents of John Drain who is married to Rebecca Francher/Fancher is wrong information. Those are two totally separate families with no connections. You can see the other post that I made to explain this. Thanks!
:) Jenny
