About the Dragoo family. I grew up with many that have been mentioned, on my mothers side, the Dragoo Family. My Grandfather, Benjamin Dragoo passed before I was born, but I shared a house with his wife, my grandmother, Sarah Iris Dragoo. Sarah lived in my home as I was growing up,and told me amazing stories about her early years with Granddaddy. Uncles and Aunts....the names are "almost" correct.

I spent most of my summers with the family in Oklahoma. This isn't history for me, it's living with those that were family. Dalton had an amazing way of "Curing warts" <S> Olin could find a fishing hole in the middle of nowhere and hunt like an Indian (Gee I wonder why<S>.
Willard had the best hugs for kids that could be possible. My mother Maude had a habit of worrying about everything possible at midnight on New Years Eve, then declaring that all her worries were over for the year. Cleo was a perfect wife and mother to her family. Thelma died before she was grown, but I've been told she was a saint.

Ben and Sarah's Children:

Dalton Dragoo (wife Carrie)
Olin Dragoo (wife Aileen)
Willard (unmarried)
Maude Nan (my mother)
Mary Cleo (husband Pete Stewart)
Thelma (who died at a young age. I'm named after her)
