Hello Betsy -- Just found your post from this past May, asking about "Draegers in Wisconsin."You're in luck! (Sort of)I happen to BE a Draeger in Wisconsin. But, as you had surmised, there are quite a few of us. If you do a quick search on ancestry.com for the U.S. geographic distribution of "Draeger," you will see that we are heavily concentrated in the Upper Midwest, with far-and-away, the heaviest concentration being in Wisconsin. -- Sorry, "Adolph Draeger" isn't familiar to me.My immigrant ancestor, my Great-Great Grandfather, came to this country in 1854, when he was 28, and farmed in the Milwaukee area. I have read elsewhere that four brothers named Draeger came to Jefferson County, west of Milwaukee, mid-19th century.
