Here is a link to what our branch of the family (my cousin's husband, Paul Ridenour) knows.

In the 1820 census in Texas, Thomas Doyne's name was somehow changed to Doyen. You'll note that his bride, Wincey Lakey, came from North Carolina, and probably the two migrated from there. I've been unsuccessful in finding a way to link Thomas to other Doyne's. There also appears to be at least two groups of Doyen's, and I don't know if we have any link to the other group.
