My gg grandfather is Thomas Doyel, the third child of Farmer Doyel.
My gg grandmother is Susan D. Everett married to Thomas in about
1854.
My ggrandmother is Mary Jane Doyel Grempczynski b. November 4,
1857 d. June 24, 1939; daughter of Thomas and Susan
My grandmother is Amanda Helen Grempczynski Branson b. May 5, 1889 d.
May 31, 1974, daughter of Mary Jane Doyel Grempczynski.
My mother is Jessie Margaret Branson-Bennett daughter of Amanda and Arch Branson.
I have just started looking into the Doyel side of the family. I would be interested in any information you may be willing to share.
I would like to know if there may be any information on what became of Nancy Jane Roach, the sister of Susan D. Everett (Doyel).
The only information I have is that:
William Everett was married to a first spouse, Catherine L. Knorr/Knoor,
and they had several children. On June 07, 1831, in Knox Co., TN.,
William married 2nd to widow Jane Ballew. They had two daughters together -
Nancy Jane Everett (b: 1832) and Susan Dawson Everett (b: May 21,
1835).
Nancy Jane Everett's spouse, Crittenden Roach, died 1870-1880, and
Nancy is found in the 1880 census living next door to her sister,
Susan. Nancy had three children -- Jemima Jane (b: ca. 1863), Charles S. (b:
ca. 1865) and Mary S.(b: ca. 1872). Just like his father, Charles S. died
before 1880.
