Hello Brendan!
In the IGI at familysearch.com, I find John T Doyle and Mary A Leary married 19 OCT 1886 Fall River, Bristol, Massachusetts. He was the son of Martin Doyle and Mary A.
Mary A Leary the daughter of John and Mary.
I do not have a Martin Doyle in the immediate family but, I do have Ellen F. Leary married John J Galvin, 1897, Fall River. Their daughter Irene married Joseph F McGowan in Fall River. They moved to Ohio. Joseph and Irene divorced and Joseph remarried but I don't know much more than that.
Is Ellen F. Leary one of your relations?
As far as the death of John T Doyle there are 2noted in the Mass Archives. One in 1889 and one in 1891.
I am sorry to say that I do not know enough to say whether they were related.
