From the 1871 UK census I have the following family:
1871 Census of 2 Reading Street, Swindon
Jane Doyle, head, widow [30] laundress, born Ireland
Mary A Doyle, dau [10] scholar, born Barnstaple
James Doyle, son [8] scholar, born Barnstaple, Devon
Alice J Doyle, dau [5] scholar, born Swindon, Wilts
Bridget Doyle, dau [2] born Jersey, America, British subject
From the 1863 birth certificate of James I have father as James Doyle (blacksmith)
and mother as Charity Jane Doyle (aka Jane Doyle, nee Burns).
Does anyone have any pre-1871 information on James Snr and Jane and the family movements (Ireland? > Barnstaple > USA > Swindon)?
Also any information on what happened to the children Mary, Alice and Bridget, and their mother Jane? I already know about James Jnr.
