the 1910 census only shows Clarence as living in the Paul household. It does not list him as a Doyal. It shows that he is 11/12 in age and the grandson of Preston Paul. Catherine is listed as a widow and daughter of Preston Paul.
In 1920 Catherine Paul shows to be head of her family listed in the household of Preston Paul. The family below her start with son, Clarence Doyal and are followed by 4 more children ages 8 to 1. She is still listed as a widow.
