Researching ancestry of Doxey's in Missouri
1900 census of Salem, Dunklin County Missouri included:
Ezra(sp?) Doxie, b 1884, MO, parents b TN/AL
Esther(or Etta), b 1885, MO, parents b TN/AL
They were listed as children in household of Fanny Jones, likely by a previous marriage.
Also in same county in 1900, James Doxey, b 1882, MO, in household of J B Niswonger(sp?).
1880 census of Dunklin County MO included a William Doxey, b 1855, TN, and James Doxey, b 1862, TN. They were in separate households
