My great grandfather was Thomas Doxey who came across the plains as a pioneer and settled in Ogden, Utah. I am a descendant through his second wife Mary Rhodes Burt. Thomas Doxey was born 27 March 1829, Derby Derbyshire, England and died 25 March 1903 in Ogden, Utah. His first wife Ann Elizabeth Hunt had 7 children and his second wife, Mary Rhodes Burt had 10 children.
