Hello Cathy, yes the Emily Doxey you have identified on the 1881 census is my Gt Grandmother, and her father John one of my Gt Gt Grandfathers. Emily went on to have three sons, John b.1888 (before she was married to Alfred Henry Cross in 1892) Robert George b.1894, and Alfred b.1901 who was my Grandfather. I also know that Emily Doxey's brothers and sisters were Benjamin b.1844-d.1875, Sarah Ann b.1848, Elizabeth b.1850/1, Lydia b.1855-d.1871, and John b.1857, however at present I have no details on their lives or whether they had any descendants, but would be very interested to hear about them.
