Hi Carol,

I am a from the Dowtin family from Littleton, NC. My grandfather was a Samuel L. Dowtin and my great grandfather was Gus Dowtin. This is new to me as I am trying to determine where they were from, etc. I realize that the Dowtin name is not a common one.
