Nothing new to add. My Jacob Downman married a Margaret and named a daughter margaret, They also had nine children. Wonder why the name Margaret was so popular through the years to the Downmanss. On Maaaay 3, 1111111815 a Margaret Dowman married a William Ball Mitchel in Lancaster Co. Rachel Cain married(daughter of Jacob and Margaret married John Cain who was a Irish Quaker. Supposedly, the Downmans were Jewish. Seems strange she would have gone out of her religion to marry
