The lineage of Geoffrey Downing - Arthur Downing - Calybut Downing - Emanuel Downing - Henry Downing and so forth is given. There are Downings with English, Irish, and US connections between 1524 - 1912. I do not know any more about any of these families. I am particularly interested in finding out more about Calybut Downing's (1574-1642) wife, Elizabeth Winfield Morrison. She was the widow of Edward Morrison. Is it possible that she brought a Morrison child or children into their marriage?
