I have just begun my DOWNING research but noticed your DOWNING mentions BARROW -

I am researching WILLIAM DOWNING in Bertie, NC. he married
ANN BARROW d/o William Barrow Jr. & Mary EBORNE 1719
Bath, Hyde Co, NC - could be a lead for you.

WM. Downings, married to Ann - will February 24, 1748 mentions a JOHN BARROW as Executor, along with STEPHEN LEE.
