If any descendants of this George Downing who was the son of Thomas and Sarah Downing are interested, the house George built in 1830 in Uwchlan Township, Chester Co Pa is for sale. I had the opportunity to go through it Saturday and was so impressed with the design. It has ten foot ceilings, very large rooms and must have been magnificent when it was new.
