Hello Christopher, I think I may have confused you, I will explain. John Downing b.1700 d.1780 marr. Anne dau of the Rev. Simon Rowe Rector of Ballyscullion. Their wedding present from her father was to give them a house and land which they called Rowesgift. This was passed on to their son John who gave it to his brother Dawson by deed. Dawson passed it on to his son John who died in 1870 I'm not sure what happened to Rowesgift after 1870 it may no longer be standing.
I'm sorry if you spent time looking for Rowesgift.
