Genealogy and DNA

Dear Downies everywhere. I would like to post a thank you to Genform and specifically to Ian Downie for his efforts and expertise in helping me track down my family line. I have become very interested in the science of DNA analysis for deep genealogical purposes. It is a rapidly expanding science and is of undoubted benefit not only to geneaologists but will be of interest to anyone wishing to know more about the human family in general and how each of us, Downie or otherwise, fits into the whole scheme. Want to know more about your own personal ancestors stretching back thousands of years? Are we all really related to each other? Please help all Downies by having your analysis done. We desperately need more Downie data to make a proper sampling. There are several commercial options available (no plugs but the bigger the data base he better...). Testing is easy, inexpensive and I appeal to any and all to join the database. The more the merrier and, if at all interested in the deep past, I guarantee you'll be hooked. All the best to all. Craig Downie
