Damian
I've been searching for some clues for a long time.
My great, great grandmother is Jessie Downie Carnaby, born in 1822, died in 28.08.1867. She married John Finlayson on 30.07.1840 in Thurso, Scotland. They had 6 children. Her parents were Benjamin Carnaby and Mary Strachan of Scotland.
I do not know if she had siblings.
I think there is a connection.
Noeleen
