Does anyone know anything about an Alexander SPENCE (or SPENS) from Scotland – married Catharine (or Katheryn, Katharine, Kathryn) PARKS about 1854, and immigrated from Scotland to the USA, but died in an accident shortly after the marriage, possibly at sea or in New York about 1854? Catharine Parks Spence remarried shortly thereafter to Alexander Downie (or Downey). If any information at all, please E-mail me!
