I am seeking information on my Great Great Grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Downey. He was born in Fairfield Co., Ohio on 10-20-1828. He died in Nelsonville, Athens Co., Ohio on 3-31-1869. He was married to Rachel Sloan(e?). We believe his father's name was John Downey, and that he was a minister with the Evangelical Association. The only information we have on John is that he was born in 1799 and died in 1854 while traveling the preaching circuit in the State of Michigan.
