I am searching for the lineage of willis Dale Downey, born June 3, 1916, passed away September 18, 1987. His father was Thomas Harvey Downey, his mother was named Pearl. Willis was born in Lovington, Illinois. This is for the purpose of tracing for an Indian grant from our Federal Government. Pearl was indian, not sure what tribe.
Any information would be welcome and helpful.
