Hello there. I have just read your message concerning the Downey family. My line or rather my X husbands line would be James 1804 but am sure he was born in Alnwick. although family connected to Howick. His son William had a daughter Mary Ann who married Henry Thirkle at North Shields. a Name that is actually conncected in the Alnwick Morpeth Area. Perhaps we can share some other info please. Lok forward to hearing from you. Marjorie
