Trying to trace back from George Washinton Downey,born 1850, married Fran or Francis Nichols. He did teaching at some Indiana college, maybe Indiana University in music and math. Married, then after teaching, they moved to Leaday, Texas and laid to rest in Leaday about 1830.
The information I'm looking for is tracing the Downey's before George Washinghton Downey to Ireland and knowing the colors of the Coat of Arms.....
