Paul Kunzweiler, 77, O'Fallon, MO, died May 11, 2006. Born June 29, 1928, he was the son of August and Margaret (Downey) Kunzweiler. Paul attended St. Gabriel's Elementary School for eight years and graduated from Fulda High School in 1946. He married Alice Schulte on October 13, 1956, in St. Peters, MO. Paul retired after 30 years of employment with McDonnel Douglas Aircraft Co. in St. Louis, MO, as an engineering liaison. He served three years in the Unites States Air Force during the Korean War and was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska. Paul loved woodworking and could often be found in his workshop working on a variety of projects. He enjoyed the time with his sons, especially fishing and going to air shows. Paul was an avid reader and loved anything to do with history. Paul is survived by his wife, Alice, and four sons, Ron (Diane), Eolia, MO., Tim (Sheila), Dayton, OH, Steve (Christine), Skiatook, OK, and Ted (Susie) Kunzweiler, O'Fallon, MO, sixteen grandchildren, and one brother, Joe Kunzweiler, Fulda. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Vince and Richard. Funeral services with military honors were held at St. Barnabas Church, O'Fallon, MO.
