My dad was adopted by his stepfather. He didn't know it wasn't his real dad for many years. His dads' name was Harrol,Harrell Downey or some spelling of the name of the first name. He had at least one brother.
My father was Ramon Elmer Downey. His mom was Bertha Irma Gepfert. My dad was born Oct 19, 1921.
Can anyone help get me started?
