I am looking for a Downey( we think Ernest) in Switzerland County, IN,but don't have much to go on. Ernest Downey married Elizabeth Leatherbury abt. 1880 and they had one son, Ivan Downey. Elizabeth was the daughter of Clay Henry Leatherbury and Rosa Gibbs. She died young and Ernest moved West with their son. We are hitting the old brick wall E-mail me at jobegi@aol.com
