I'm looking for information about a Darby E. Downey b. 1854, and married to Eldora Ross (b. Nov 19, 1861 d. Mar 17, 1900) on Aug 10, 1879 in LaPorte County, Indiana. I have their children as being Edna b. July 1880, Lydia b. Sep 1882, Alden b. Sep 2, 1883, Blanche b. Sep 2, 1883, Clara b. July 1885, Ada b. July 29, 1888, Ross b. Apr 1890, Mamie b. Jan 1893, John b. Jan 1896, and Otto b. Apr 1898. According to the 1880 & 1900 census he was born in Virginia, but does not specify any more information. Anything will help. Thanks, Matt.
