My ggrandfather, Alexander Neil or Neil Alexander, was a teacher in Toronto. Married Eliza Almira VanNorman of Tillsenberg, Canada. Their daughter, my grandmother, was Edith Mabel Downie/Downey?, b/1870 in Muskegon, MI, one of 10 children. Alexander Neil died 1893 in Michigan. This is all I have, and would appreciate any further info. My grandmother married John BUSBY in Muskegon in 1894.
