My ancestor James Downey showed up in Litchfield, CT in 1760. He married Rachel Baker. They moved to Vermont with Ethan Allen and associated with him. They had 12 children, then Rachel died and James remarried very soon thereafter and had 12 more children. I will post more later regarding all the descendants that I have access to, which is quite a few.
