My grandfather & brothers...Alford, John, Velma, Joseph & Earl were born near Ardmore, OK (Indian Territory late 1800's & early 1900's. They indicated the fathers name was Richard Downey. They lived back and forth between OK & Ft Worth area in TX.

Have you come across any of these names? I think they crawled out from under a rock!
