I'm looking for information on a Downey family in Adams Co. OH and thought you might help. Susan Downey b.1857 in WVA? married Andrew James Newman in Adams Co. in 1873. I have never been able to find her parents, but I believe she was related to Sarah Downey who was Nathaniel Newman's (Andrew's father) second wife. There is also a Frances J. Downey listed that may be another sibling.
