My gggrandmother was Joan Downey. She was married to Keery Keane of Mounteagle brosna, CO Kerry, not far from Tralee. I don't know anything else about Joan. I have posted a long message on the Keane page that has all the info I have. Joan's granddaughter, Nora Lane was my grandmother. She was born in 1872. If Joan Downey was sixty years older, that would put Joan Downey's approx. birth year around 1812. She could be a daughter of Michael Downey.
