Hi,
Are you the Jerry Downey that married Karin? If so, Lelon Thompson of AL gave me your name and said he met you at a Thompson reunion in Texas.

My Grandfather was Elijah Jackson Downey, his father was Ambrose Franklin Downey (CSA), his father was James M. Downey, and I believe that his father was Joseph Downey of SC, GA and AL.

that is all I know.
