Downey Date: October 25, 1998 at 22:52:04   of 2306 John Downey b. September 25, 1870, d. march 17, 1943 and is buried in the Foster Cemetary in Garvin Co., OK. I am unable to attach him to my line descended from Peter Downey 1788-1867, Peyton Davis Downey 1833-1890, Alfred Morton Downey 1873-1947. I do know that John purchased land in Garvin County, Ok joining Alfred Morton and purchased it at the same time from the Choctaw-Chickasaw Nations. If your line contains this John Downey, please respond.
