I am related to Downey's from Burt Parsh, CO. Donegal. I trace back to John Downey marrried a Martha Jameson(Jamieson) marr. 20 February 1827. Children: Andrew 1828, Martha, 1830,Mary 1833, John 1836,William 1839, Thomas 1842, Jane 1846. Andrew, John, Martha, William and their mother ended in Aledo, Il. by 1850's.
