James born ca.1843, married Martha A. Tilley 24JAN1864 Jackson County, Ohio. James is a brother to my 2GGM Mary Catherine Downey Welch born 11APR1846. Other children were Matilda born ca.1844, and Andrew born 04DEC1847. Parents were Corneilius Downey and Martha Daniels, children born in Carroll County, Ohio. Corneilius Downey was born in New York. Alvy, Matilda, Francis, James, and Cynthia were probable brothers and sisters to Corneilius Downey.
