I am looking for information on my gg grandfather James Downey from either Turley, Oklahoma or Dewey, Oklahoma. I do not know if he was born in Okla. or not. My grandfather's name was Jewell William Downey. I know he had a brother named Carl and two sisters at least that I don't know their names. We have completely lost track of this side of the family. My grandfather moved to McPherson, Kansas and is buried there. He died of ALS in 1954. He married Edna Cora Prichard and they had 4 children. Woodson died at 3, Jewel Dean died last year, Woodrow also died last year, and my mother Virginia Rose Starkey lives in McPherson, Kansas. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. God bless!
