It was so nice to hear from you and I am certain we are related if your mother is a Downes from kilkenny. I am not sure if you live in Ireland or if you are also living here in the U.S. What year was your mother born in ? I hope you don't mind me asking but I am unsure of where she fits into the family. My grandfather was Albert Downes and I was told that he was born in Redding, England. I don't know my Downes side very well and I wondered if you had ever heard Redding,England mentioned before. I hope to hear from you soon.
