Hi Raymond,

Glad to hear from you. Do you know who Louis' grandparents were? I am visiting at my daughter's in Texas right now and all my genealogy stuff is at my home in California so I am not sure but I think the Louis I am thinking of was the son of a John Downes.

Have you ever been to Tullamore? I have been there several times. I meet my father's first cousins, Nora Downes and Billy Downes, but they have both died in the past few years. I was told they were the only Downes still left there. Neither married so they have no descendents.

My grandmother was Mary Martin. I have also had the pleasure of meeting some of her nieces and nephews and still keep in touch with some of the Martin relatives.

My aunt, Julia Downes McWilliams, lived in Bloomfield, NJ before her death and she kept up with a lot of the Downes and Martin relatives that settled in that area. Since her death, I have lost touch with her family. She had 6 daughters and one son.

Keep in touch,
Adrienne Downes Deluke
