Hello Sue

I wish I could say that I had a link to your ggrandmother with the beautiful name. We've struggled for about a year to find our spanish ancester by following my grandmother's maternal line. However, we now have decided to follow the DOWNES line and I feel we are getting closer although a way off yet.

If we do find her it will be from around 1800-1870 so it is feasible that a later child could've been named after her, i.e. your ggrandmother.

I'll keep your memo on file for future reference, just in case.

Good luck to you in your research. Pam in Brighton UK.
