I looking for a Michael Down(e)s who married a Mary Collins.They had 4 children, all born in Dundee, Scotland although Michael was born in Ireland (I think in the 1820's or 30's). Their children were Michael (1857), James (1859), my ggrandfather Edward (1861) and Betsey (1863).

I noticed you mentioned family name of Collins. Do you know where the Collins connection is? Is my Michael possibly related to your John?
